Book review: Consent to Love by Abby Wood (9781426893551) E-book

The story between Ana and Kane is nothing new.  She is the naïve 24-year-old who is looking for love and happiness and he is the strong silent Native Indian type intrigued by her charms.

I felt the writing was hurriedly put together and it had more sex scenes than actual character-building content.  Don’t get me wrong, I like the sex scenes, but I wanted balance within the story. Seeing Ana grow more intellectually and socially was helpful, but Kane seemed to stay the same and in my experience those kind of relationships can end in resentment and disappointment.

This was a quick read; but, unfortunately, this was not one of my favorites and I was hoping for much more.

Thank you to Abby Wood, Carina Press and NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to review this book.
